Media and Policy Analysis
Analyses of media and policy leading up to the current conditions in the grocery industry is well underway. The media analysis examined Canada-wide coverage related to grocery workers from 2019 to 2024. The policy analysis investigated national policy change and creation from 2019 through 2024.
Survey
The survey portion of this research is seeking input from employees of Canadian grocery chains in Ontario. It asks questions about workplace experiences, health, housing, food security, and work-life balance. Results from this part of the project will be published in academic journals and at conferences.
